MRC Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and be able, both physically and mentally, to respond to disasters and other emergencies. They must be able to work under stressful situations, and be prepared to respond with little notice. The Tooele County MRC encourages volunteers to discuss their participation with their families and employers and prepare them for their absence in an emergency.
MRC members will be given an identification badge complete with their: MRC members may be dismissed by the MRC Coordinator for cause. Criminal
acts and negligence, in any form, while serving on the MRC will not be
tolerated. Dismissals may be appealed to the Tooele County Health Department’s
Director/Health Officer or his/her designee. MRC members, while activated,
must abide by Tooele County Health Department employee rules and regulations.
